Kids Live In A World of Anger
Why are some children so angry? Here are some clues as to how they may be learning to express thier normal angry feelings:
- By middle school, chidlren have seen more than 100,000 acts of aggression or violence on television
- A recent AAA study showed nearly 90% of motorists hace experienced an aggressive driving incident within the past year. Many of these incidents were witnessed by children.
- According to the National Youth Prevention Resource Center, 11% of children in grades 6 to 10 say they have been the victims of bullies, and 13% report bullying others.
