Stress Can Trip Anger
Ever watch ABC's "Wife-Swap?" Seems that while filming an uncoming episode, Yanni Panagiotakis struck his 13-year old daughter for not wearing a coat. Later, his attorneys said the outburst was precipitated by "tension" of the filming process.
Stress can often underlie anger. Stress management is one of the core 8 tools taught in many anger management programs because we are much more likely to explode or become aggressive when under stress, than at other times.
